Japan’s Traditional
Ayu Fishing — Tomozuri
SPECIAL EXPERIENCE
Tomozuri is a unique Japanese fishing method that uses the ayu’s strong territorial instinct.
A live ayu is used as a “decoy” to provoke territorial fish into attacking, allowing you to catch them.
With a rod nearly 10 meters long, read the river’s current and the movements of the fish.
This is a truly unique fishing culture found only in Japan.
